Outdoor 120x230 arena
Highview Ranch & Stable is 110 acres of beautiful, rolling hills, valleys, meadows and woods. There are 60+ acres of fenced pasture with over two hours of trails available for riding. The Prairie-Forest Creek ripples through the ranch. There are numerous opportunities to see nature at her best. There are wild turkeys, hawks, many varieties of songbirds, squirrels, rabbits, raccoons, an occasional fox, beavers, and of course deer. You can check out the wide variety of vegetation and wild flowers, which bloom through the spring and summer months. In the fall the colors are spectacular. In the winter, the calm quiet of the snow is breathtaking. In addition we are located near several state parks, which also provide hours of trail riding. There are miles of quiet gravel roads for those who prefer a more sedate ride.
Built in 2002, boarders have access to state of-the-art materials in stalls, fencing, paddocks and arena. The custom-made 10x12 stalls feature horizontal—not vertical bars—which discourages weaving. Fencing features fiberglass poles, which prevent injury from posts splintering or breaking off. The paddocks are equipped with automatic fountains for a fresh supply of water as well as large loafing sheds to offer outdoor protection from weather and bugs.
The 70x150 arena is heated and easily accessible from the stall area.
There are individual tack lockers with room for saddle and other tack and supplies, providing each boarder safe and secure storage as well as an enclosed community tack room.
There is a comfortably furnished lounge area, bathroom, and heated wash stall with hot and cold water.
We will be offering regularly scheduled events, including team penning, sorting, open arena and individual instructions. Our arena is available for special private events as well. We will be having horse care seminars and other educational programs for those interested. LeSueur area has several saddle clubs available nearby, the Fox Hollow Saddle Club, the LeSueur Saddle Club and Sand Creek Saddle Club.
We also have tack and supplies available for purchase on site.
The 70x150-heated arena is open for riding to groups and individuals, depending on availability.
