SHEIKH KABIR

COW HORSE STARTING &TRAINING CLINIC

September 20th, 2008

9a.m to 4p.m

Sheikh Kabir has made it his specialty starting colts of all breeds for working cow horse and cutting, including Grand Champion Stallion, Khonig.  Mentored by NCHA Hall of Fame member Punk Carter & Ray Hunt, who he worked under for five years.   Sheikh conducts training and clinics from his facility in Tioga, Texas producing cutting and working cow horses by “gentling” rather than breaking.  This clinic is a great opportunity to understand the finer points of starting and training horses destined for competition, working or beloved family horse.  For more details please contact Linden Hermel on 507-665-0019.

Participant Fee: $125 - limited to first 20 paid registrations

Auditors Fee: $15

October 25-26, 2008.  To
register, go online at nvrha.org, print out an Event Registration
Form, fill it out and send your form and check to NVRHA, 590 Hwy 105,
Box 150, Monument, CO 80132.

The cost will be $300 for the 2-day clinic/competition, $200 for one
day (with one horse).  The NVRHA competitions are very low key and
there will even be a clinician in the arena helping you as you need it.
There is no better way to get started in a low stress environment
than this weekend!

Please feel free to call or email me with questions.  Our goal is to
keep the clinician ratio no greater than 8:1 so there will be a lot of
personal attention for you and your horse.  Dave Currin, the president
of NVRHA out of Colorado, will be joining Matthew Davison, an
experienced clinician and competitor in Ranch Versatility from Wisconsin.
